Students will explore the fundamentals of metal fabrication and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) through hands-on learning experiences. Participants will begin with a safety briefing and then move into designing and fabricating their own projects using industry-relevant tools and techniques.
First-time students will be introduced to core fabrication and welding skills, while returning participants will build on their experience and have the opportunity to work on a more advanced Level 2 project.
What Students Will Learn:
- Introduction to metal fabrication and MIG welding
- Shop safety procedures and proper equipment use
- Basic design and fabrication techniques
- Hands-on experience with welding tools and materials
- Problem-solving and project-based learning in a shop environment
