Spend the day applying the engineering design process through hands-on robotics challenges. Students will work in teams to build a drive base using the LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime kit and program it to complete a series of tasks. Along the way, participants will develop coding skills and learn how to improve robot performance using sensors and iterative problem-solving.
What Students Will Learn:
- Fundamentals of the engineering design process
- Building and programming a LEGO® SPIKE™ Prime robot
- Coding skills including debugging and optimizing programs
- Using sensors to improve accuracy and consistency
- Teamwork and collaboration in an engineering environment
- Strategies and skills applicable to FIRST® LEGO® League competitions
