Students enrolled in the February after school program will explore why it is so difficult for teenagers to quit vaping. Follow the story of a teen who is trying to quit vaping. Model how vaping nicotine affects the receptors and dopamine levels in the brain reward pathway. Use the model to understand nicotine tolerance, dependence,addiction, withdrawal, and recovery from nicotine addiction.
Students signing up for this program are expected to be at all Monday meetings from 5:15-7:00 pm.
