Middle school students get ready to roll up your sleeves and step into the kitchen! In this exciting summer academy, students will explore the world of culinary arts while creating delicious dishes they’ll get to enjoy. From learning essential kitchen basics to preparing fun and creative recipes, participants will gain hands-on experience that is both educational and rewarding.
What Students Will Learn:
- Kitchen safety and basic food handling skills
- Measuring, mixing, and fundamental cooking techniques
- How to follow and adapt recipes
- Basic nutrition and ingredient awareness
- Teamwork and kitchen collaboration
- Confidence in preparing simple, delicious meals
REQUIREMENTS:
Closed toe shoes required, no sandals or Crocs etc.
