March Trades After School Program
Students enrolled in the March Trades After School Program will learn about a career in welding. Through our partnership with Beloit Memorial High School, students will spend their time in the Welding and Metal Fabrication Lab. Students will learn the Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) process, how to properly set up their machine for welding, the proper safety equipment used in welding, and will learn metal fabrication and welding.
Dates: Four Tuesdays:
03/03 – Welding Overview, Safety and PPE
03/10 – Basics of Gas Metal Arc Wedling (GMAW)
03/17 – Welding Project
02/24 – Welding Project
