Turtle Tek is dedicated to growing FIRST in the Wisconsin-Illinois Stateline area. They do this by Teaching Engineering to Kids. Turtle Tek is a team that was founded in 2022. They are based in Beloit, WI and are made up of 8 team members from two states, many schools and at an age range of 8th-12th grade. Their team mission is to help grow FIRST on all levels in their area as they are the only FIRST Tech Challenge team on the Stateline.

Schools bring students to Hendricks CareerTek to learn all about the many different career pathways throughout construction. Throughout the process, students learn the skills needed to build a house from the ground up.
