They’ll practice essential skills like dressing to impress, mastering that perfect handshake, and nailing body language and eye contact—all in a friendly, supportive environment. CNA classes are for students who have been awarded the CareerTek CNA scholarship. Students meet at CareerTek classroom and healthcare lab for 90 hours of instruction, plus 24 hours of practicing their skills in a clinical setting. They learn critical topics like patient safety, ambulation, and personal care, as well as proficiency in personal protection care. By the end of the course, students are prepared to make a real difference in the lives of those they care for and take the next step toward a fulfilling healthcare career.
