Students will learn about the cardiac, pulmonary and respiratory system and receive their own stethoscope for the keeping. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) will be practiced using adult, child and infant manikins along with using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). This is a hands on introduction to life saving measures that can be used in emergency situations. Great to know as a babysitter. Students need to attend all sessions as the lessons build upon each other.
