Day 1 & 2:
Apps, video games, robots, the Internet — the world runs on code. Learn to code and create with a programming language used at major companies like Google. Create exciting code projects, visit a local tech company, and discuss everything geeky with a local software engineer. Beginners and advanced coders alike will learn new skills and abilities to take beyond the class.
Day 3:
Field trip to Google headquarters in Chicago. This is a one of a kind experience to see behind the scenes of a major tech giant and how coding is used everyday.
This academy is made possible through a collaborative partnership between Hendricks CareerTek, Rakuten and Google.

Summer Academies:
Hendricks CareerTek is excited to bring exploratory academies to youth in the greater Beloit area this summer. Young people can enjoy hands on exploratory activities across a broad range of career fields. Work side by side with experienced local professionals.

Participants who fail to attend an academy experience without notifying us will have his/her enrollment from all other academies removed out of consideration for those on our waiting lists.
