4 Week, Hands-On After School Program
The construction afterschool program will partner with CCI and be open for students grades 6th-9th. We will focus on exploration and skill growth in the world of construction during this 4-week program. This program also gives students the opportunity to earn Skill Certifications upon completion. The first three weeks will be here at the CareerTek space, and the final week will be a tour of a work site.
- Sept 5th- Carpentry and measurement
- Sept 12th- Tool safety
- Sept 19th- Rough framing
- Sept 26th- Tour of a real build site
Registration is open from August 15th-31st with spots available for 12-15 students. Students signing up for this program are expected to be at all 4 Tuesday meetings from 4:00-5:00 pm.
