Curious about investigating a crime scene? Want to explore the world of foods? Ever wondered if you have what it takes to be successful in the health field? Come explore some of the hottest careers today in public safety, culinary arts, health sciences, and manufacturing.
These week-long exploratory camps are designed to provide students in grades 6-9 with hands-on learning experiences, exposing them to a range of skills and careers to expand their knowledge and understanding of high demand careers.
One day a week is devoted to a field trip touring a local business to help students see firsthand what it takes to be a success. Join us for a week of exploration and fun!
Camp activities will be the same each week.
July 17-July 21

Prefer to be up and working with your hands? Like to tinker? Ever take gadgets apart and then put them back together? Students attending the week-long introductory camp to manufacturing learn the various design skills necessary to bring life to a new items along the specialized machinery necessary to create a product. This week also includes a tour of a local manufacturing facility to help students learn what types of careers exist in our area.
July 24-July 28

Hooked on TV chef shows? Spend your free time watching the Food Network? Love to show off in the kitchen? Cooking is more than a necessary life skill–it’s also an opportunity for a career. Join us for an exciting, interactive, week-long course that teaches basic skills in food preparation for various occasions. The best part—you get to eat what you create!
July 31-August 4

Why spend your time just playing when you can also create? Video games and interactive media comprise a growing $20 billion industry with a range of jobs in game design, animation, music, programming, marketing, technical support and more. Students can immerse themselves in our week-long camp and experience hands-on learning focused on skill development while exposing them to the range of career opportunities in the field of game design and coding.
