
Carpentry – Building a Finger Hockey Game
Students enrolled in April’s Trades After School Program will learn about a career in Carpentry. Each student will cut, sand, laser engrave, and paint their own Finger Hockey Game. Students will learn machine safety, how to properly read a blueprint and understand measurement with dimensioning, and assembly techniques commonly used in Carpentry.
Dates: Four Tuesdays:
04/01 — Shop Safety, PPE, and Reading a Blueprint
04/8 — Cutting and Sanding Finger Hockey Pieces
04/15 — Laser Engraving and Paint/Stain
04/22 — Final Assembly
