Careers in Architecture
Students enrolled in the March after school program will spend their classes learning about architecture skills.
Students will learn about different architectural structures, and will spend time designing residential and commercial buildings. Students will have the opportunity to use a Floor Planner Software and a common architecture software called SketchUp.
- Dates: Four Tuesdays:
- 03/04 — Introduction to Architecture
- 03/11 — Introduction to SketchUp – Reading Floor Plans and Blueprints
- 03/18 — Elements of Design in Architecture
- 03/25 — Interior Layouts and Designs
- Time: 4:00 – 5:00 pm
- Location: Hendricks CareerTek
- Grades: 6-8
