High School Students enrolled in the February Healthcare Club will learn about Physical Rehabilitation which is a medical specialty that helps people regain lost body functions due to injury or illness. It can involve a variety of treatments, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. The goal of rehabilitation is to help patients regain their strength and mobility, and return to a healthy and active lifestyle. Students will learn about the specific roles of a Physical Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Speech Therapist. Students will also learn about each of their pathways to needed education and cost regarding their degrees, as well as expected starting salary ranges.
