Dare To Dream Sponsorship

Dear Friends,

Hendricks CareerTek proudly presents the second annual Dare to Dream speaker. Travis Mills’ harrowing story is one of “overcoming life’s challenges, breaking physical barriers and defying the odds.” He lives each day by embracing the motto: “Never give up. Never quit.” One of five surviving quadruple amputees from the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, Travis is a recalibrated warrior and best selling author of a New York Times best selling memoir, Tough as They Come. His story is sure to inspire.

This event will again bring together students and business leaders in a unique forum, which promises to inspire us to look at life’s challenges differently. The Hendricks Family Foundation is the signature sponsor for this event.

Our program will commence at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Eclipse Center in Beloit. The event is free to encourage student participation. This year, proceeds from sponsoring organizations will go to supporting the Hendricks CareerTek scholarship fund. Scholarships will be awarded to eligible youth working with Hendricks CareerTek to advance their career goals and pursue learning opportunities beyond high school.
