My name is Kelechi Anyanwu and I am a 2022 graduate from Beloit Memorial High School. Next year I will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I will likely pursue a degree in Business.
CareerTek’s offered programs were incredibly helpful in aiding me in the college application process. The workshops and seminars were essential to my success and acceptance to my dream school. I am very grateful to be receiving this scholarship
which will definitely reduce the financial burdens I face. CareerTek’s resources are invaluable to all prospective college students and I will always be thankful for it.

My name is Jeton Ashiku, and I am a graduating senior from Clinton High School. For the past four years in high school, I was actively involved in student council, honor society, DECA,basketball, and other sports and clubs. Also, I completed two years of college through an early college credit program. I volunteer my time by helping the people in my community and managing community events and fundraisers in my town.
Through Hendricks CareerTek, I was part of many opportunities that I never thought were possible. Because of my interest in the healthcare field, I participated in many field trips related to healthcare, met numerous healthcare professionals, and learned about different healthcare-related careers. Furthermore, Hendricks CareerTek has allowed me to get out of my comfort zone, build relationships, and make new friendships through events like their Play Monster Game Night and the ABC Supply Stadium Project. I will be attending the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater to major in Biology with an Emphasis in Pro-Biomedical Professions. Thanks to the amazing staff at CareerTek who were so dedicated to helping me, I am more than confident in pursuing a career in the healthcare field.

My name is April Botten. I am a graduating senior at Arise Virtual Academy. I will be attending Blackhawk Technical College to get my Associate’s degree in Nursing. I am an honor roll student and have been a part of extracurricular activities such as tennis, orchestra, choir, and being very active in my youth group including being on the worship team. For years, Hendricks Career Tek has given me opportunities including hands-on opportunities to explore the medical field and learn what it is all about. I am very thankful for the opportunities Hendricks Career Tek has given me to explore the medical field and be sure that being a nurse is what I want to do.
Madalyn Brooks

My name is Madalyn Brooks and I am a 2022 graduate from South Beloit High School. During my time at South Beloit, I have participated in many different sports such as basketball, volleyball, track, and cheerleading/dance. I also was involved with being an active member within my class, the National Honors Society, and student council. In the fall, I plan on attending Rockford University double majoring in Kinesiology and Psychology.
My goal is to pursue a career in either physical or occupational therapy! I have been a part of many events through Hendricks CareerTek that have influenced me to really want to become successful at anything I plan on doing. I would like to thank everyone at CareerTek for guiding me and helping me find what career options fit me the best. I am extremely grateful to have received this scholarship from CareerTek and I truly will miss everyone in this organization that have made significant impacts on me and my career path. I highly recommend those still in high school that if they have the opportunities, to reach out to organizations such as CareerTek so they are able to explore all their options after high school.

My name is Arianna Dunkin and I will be a 2022 graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. I am a member of the Knightingales Cheer/Step Team, Link Crew, Minority Excellence Organization, and the National Honor Society. I’ve been a part of the Beloit College Help Yourself Pre-Collegiate Program for the past four years, which has helped prepare me for college. I am also a member of the Beloit Memorial High School Collegiate Academy Program and have taken college-level courses. Recently, I completed a Certified Nursing Assistant course at Blackhawk Technical College and earned hours toward a nursing program.
In the Fall, I will be attending Jackson State University and majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am honored to receive the Hendricks CareerTek Scholarship as it will help me as I pursue my dream to become an Obstetrician Gynecologist. After completing my education I want to give back to my Beloit community. My name is Elizabeth Garner and I am a senior at Clinton High
School. I plan to attend George Williams College of Aurora University in the fall to pursue a degree in nursing. I have been involved in many CareerTek activities varying from healthcare field trips, interviewer on the CareerTalk series, to getting my CNA! CareerTek has prepared me and made me confident about my future endeavors because of the endless amount of support and guidance they have provided over the years. I am more than thankful to have been awarded the senior scholarship, and see CareerTek continue to support me past high school to help me succeed.

My name is Ashlyn Hawkins and I am a 2022 graduate at Beloit Turner High School. This fall I will be attending Edgewood College to major in nursing. Throughout High School, CareerTek gave me many awesome opportunities! I received a CNA Scholarship, attended awesome and interesting BizTank Classes, and now receiving this scholarship! All of these have helped me choose my career and pursue it. I believe everyone should take the opportunity to look into all the different things CareerTek has to offer!

My name is Maddisyn Hess-Schroeder and I’m excited to be going to Northern Michigan University this Fall to study Psychology within the Honors Program. I’m beyond thankful for the opportunity to further my education, and for Careertek’s support in transforming my passion for psychology into something tangible and impactful.
Throughout my time at Hononegah High School, I’ve been active in National Honors Society, Gaia, SOAR Tutoring, my job as a cashier at Farm & Fleet, and a variety of other outlets—a record of service and involvement I can’t wait to extend into my college years, with the hope of giving back to my community in the way that it’s given to me through resources like Careertek.

My name is Jenna Mosley and I am a 2022 graduate at Beloit Turner High School. In High School, I had many leadership roles such as Student Council President and Treasurer of National Honor Society. Outside of school, I am the President of Newark Beloit 4-H Club. My favorite CareerTek memory was visiting Google in Chicago during a summer coding academy.
This fall, I will be attending UW-Platteville and plan to major in integrated marketing. I am very grateful for this scholarship from CareerTek!

Hi! I’m Chloe Piper and I’m a 2022 graduate of Hononegah Community High School. During my years at Hononegah I was involved in my school’s cheerleading team, golf team and several other school clubs. In the fall I will be attending Rock Valley College to major in Nursing while also earning a degree in Science. My ultimate goal is to one day become a Nurse Practitioner! I will forever be thankful for the opportunities Hendricks CareerTek has given me over the years. In 2020 I was awarded the Hendricks CareerTek CNA scholarship which lead me to completing my CNA program at Blackhawk Technical College. Since then I have been working as a Oncology Nursing Assistant at Beloit Memorial Hospital! My job at Beloit Memorial has taught me valuable not only work but also life skills.

Sophia Schwartzrock
Silver Valley Homeschool Academy
Sophia Schwartzrock is graduating Silver Valley Homeschool Academy with honors. She is a Cadet in the Mount Morris, Illinois Volunteer Fire Department, and takes lessons in fencing and swordsmanship. Her hobbies include playing the violin, reading (especially anything by Lemony Snicket), creative writing, archery, watercolor painting, and filming/editing short movies. In addition to playing lacrosse for the Rockford Razorbacks, Sophia enjoys a variety of outdoor sports and activities such as rock climbing and kayaking. CareerTek’s Beloit International Film Festival 2022 Student Workshop cemented her decision to study Film Production at Southern Adventist University.

My name is Ruthie Stalcup and I will be graduating from Rock County Christian School in May of 2022. During my high school years, I was involved in choir, learned the violin, and acted in school plays. As a senior, I have been a student representative on my school board, and helped young children memorize Bible verses at my church’s AWANA club. For 3 years, I participated in the Beloit International Film Festival through Hendrick’s Career Tek’s Student Filmmaker class. I was able to learn how to film from interesting angles, and edit movies in really cool ways! I will always be grateful to Hendrick’s Career Tek for this awesome experience. In the fall, I will be attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I have not chosen a Major, but am leaning towards a Computer Science degree.

My name is Emma Sullivan, and I am a 2022 Graduate from Clinton High School. I will be attending The University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire in the fall of 2022 to pursue a degree in Nursing. I am very grateful for all the opportunities Hendricks Careertek has provided me. They jump-started my career in healthcare by providing me with the CNA scholarship, which has significantly prepared me for the medical field.
Throughout High School, I have participated in the Honor Society, Student Council, DECA, FFA, and a teacher-only wellness group. My high school has also recognized me as a Rock Valley Conference’s top ten academic students. Closing on my high school career, I have been working as a CNA in a memory care facility, where I utilize the skills Hendricks Carrertek has given me. I am grateful to receive the Hendricks Careertek scholarship, for they have continuously supported me throughout the difficult transition between high school and college.
