I graduated from UW – Eau Claire and have spent my career in various aspects of business. I was a consultant to ABC Supply and transitioned to working on the company’s Midwest Regional Staff for a combined 22 years. I’ve always had an affinity for helping and encouraging young people to achieve their dreams. I believe that it truly does take a village to raise a child and I am compelled to do my part.
My goal is to implement a strategic plan that will allow HCT to support our youth with PICKING careers they want to explore, PREPARING them with skills required to succeed and PLACING them in positions to get real world experience. I am grateful for this awesome responsibility and will pursue it with great passion!
My wife and son are extremely supportive as this is not only important to me, but it is who we are as a family!

I was born and raised in Beloit, attending the School District of Beloit schools. After high school I continued my education at UW Whitewater graduating with a BSE and MSE in Elementary education. Returning to Beloit, I married my husband where we raised our three children. My two sons and daughter all graduated from Beloit Memorial High School and attended the UW Madison.
My teaching career consisted of 28 years in elementary education, 21 of those years in the School District of Beloit. After one short year of being away from teaching, I felt a void of working with students and making a difference in my community. I accepted the position of Director of Education Services at Hendrick’s CareerTek knowing I will have the opportunity to continue my passion of working with the youth of the Beloit Community. I now work with young people who could have been at one time one of my past students. It’s very rewarding to be able to help our youth with career exploration opportunities, building their futures as productive citizens. I am honored to have this opportunity to continue my desire of making a difference at Hendricks CareerTek.

I was born and raised in South West Wisconsin, where I graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. After High School I attended Viterbo University in La Crosse Wisconsin and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Technology and Engineering Education. Throughout my career I taught classes in Residential Construction, Woods/Cabinetry, SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, Metals/Manufacturing, CAD/CNC/Engineering, STEM, Architecture, and Robotics to students in grades 6-12.
After over 10 years of experience in public education, my family and I decided it was time for a change and I accepted the position of Pathway Program Director at Hendricks CareerTek. Beloit and Southern Wisconsin have quickly become our home and I am very excited for the future here at HCT.

I was born and raised in Racine, WI and always knew working with kids was what I was meant to do. Attending UW- Whitewater and earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, was the natural next step for me after high school. During my 13 years as an educator I completed my Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction and enjoyed being an integral part of the education path for many amazing students and families.
Stepping away from teaching for a bit, allowed me to develop skills in the construction field as a designer and build strong community connections in my role at the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce. Those opportunities led me back to my true passion of working with students here at Hendricks CareerTek.
The opportunities provided at Hendricks CareerTek are invaluable to not only the students but our community as a whole. The experiences that educate and introduce students to key stakeholders in the community, play a vital role in creating a vibrant workforce. These students are the future of our community and I am proud to assist in connecting tomorrow’s leaders with all of the great things happening in the area.

I was born in Beloit and grew up in Rockford, IL. My husband and I raised our 3 children in the Southern Wisconsin area in a country setting with lots of room to run and explore. For 18 years, I home-schooled our children, involving them in sports teams, church groups, and community activities. Now, as empty nesters, we enjoy the company of our aging but delightful chocolate Lab. I enjoy hiking, worshiping the Lord, watching my sons’ sporting events, traveling, and exploring charming small towns.
After my youngest child graduated, I headed right to CareerTek in hopes they were hiring, and have been blessed with a wonderful part time job with colleagues who feel like family. I also enjoy knowing I am one of those people who came back to their Beloit roots. Over the years, I have been increasingly impressed by the community’s involvement to provide career opportunities and awareness for local students. In addition to career exploration, students are gaining valuable life skills that would make any parent proud.
