This is a unique, week long program that focuses on the technology of automation. Students will make Lego robots and learn how program them.
For students participating for the first time, there will be an Introduction to Metal Fabrication and Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) and including Safety brief, Design, fabricate.
hands-on experience where you will work together with other students to build a company, design a product and to learn more about business, entrepreneurship and our free enterprise system.
In this workshop, participants will use the micro: bit’s drag and drop interface, MakeCode, to learn how to code the device.
Students receive an introduction to computer-aided design and 3D printing technology by designing a board game.
Students will be introduced to careers held by women in four different trades within the construction industry. Each trade will include a hands on activity.
The activities will be designed to show students a more in-depth view of what skills are needed to be a law enforcement officers.
Introduce a career in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics and/or nail technology to individuals who are considering a future in the industry.
For students participating for the first time, you will get to explore different areas that the HVAC/R industry has to offer through a variety of hands-on activities.
Students will have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals within the construction industry.
