Guidelines:

Completed scholarship applications are due by midnight April 15, 2020.  Incomplete applications or applications received after that time will not be considered.

Scholarship Application:

For full consideration, an applicant must provide the following supporting documents within the allotted time frame.

  1. General Application
  2. Resume
  3. Personal statement
This is your chance to tell your story (or at least part of it). The best way to tell your story is to write a personal, thoughtful essay about something that has meaning for you. Be honest and genuine, and your unique qualities will shine through. Your essay should be no more than 1500 words.

Additionally, be sure you spend time editing as it should be error free. Tell us about your academic and personal achievements. What have you learned from your successes and/or challenges, and how will this influence you as you pursue your future career goals?

  4. Transcripts
  5. Two letters of recommendation—may not be a family member—at least one letter must be from an employer or past employer. If a letter from an employer is not possible, letters from someone within the community will be accepted  (i.e. church pastor).

Interviews:

From the pool of application submissions finalists will be selected for follow up interviews. Once finalists have been selected all applicants will be notified and those advancing to the next phase will be invited to interview.
