
Students enrolled in the October After School Program will explore the mission and services of the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin.
They’ll learn about its four-tiered mission:
- Providing shelter and humane care for lost and homeless pets
- Reuniting lost pets with their families
- Promoting positive pet adoptions
- Educating the community to inspire compassion and responsible pet guardianship
In addition, students will gain insight into essential services such as spay and neuter programs, wellness and vaccinations, pet services, adoption, volunteering, and fostering.
The program will conclude with an exciting field trip to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin on Prairie Avenue in Beloit
